A Mini Blogger Meet-up in Karlsruhe, Germany

So while spending a few days in Strasbourg, Julika and I decided to pop over and visit Alex from Ifs, Ands & Butts in her adopted hometown of Karlsruhe, GermanyAlex, by the way, is one of my favorite bloggers, who I have met up with before here in Paris.

After a zippy forty-minute train ride, we made our way to Germany, a country I always enjoy visiting. The combination of stay-out-til-dawn nightlife, hearty food and 6′ 2” gentlemen just gets me every time, and I have a not-so-secret love for the German language.

2 Days in Dordogne: Adventures in Foie Gras Land

So during our whirlwind road-trip down the French Atlantic Coast to La RochelleÎle de Ré and Biarritz, we decided to take a vacation inside of a vacation in Foie Gras Land, more commonly known as the Dordogne.

After my recent visit to Alsace, where I consumed a near-criminal amount of tarte flambée, I thought it was high time I learn to make the dish myself. Tarte flambée is a traditional Alsatian dish that is kind of similar to pizza. (Just don’t tell the Alsatians that!) For a little geography refresher, Alsace is … Read more

The Beauty of San Sebastián at Sunset

San Sebastián- Basque Country’s most beautiful city, is never more stunning than at sunset, especially from the summit of Monte Igueldo. From there you can soak in the views of San Sebastián, which contain beach and sky and mountains.

Though I know I’m an amateur photographer at best, I think theses are some of the best photos I’ve ever taken, which is in no small part due to San Sebastián inherent natural beauty.
