Saturday Snapshots 23 & 24

Hey everyone! So this week I have a legitimate reason for having a late photo of the week… my host family recently moved and thus I was wifi free for about eight days. Yes, it’s been painful but ultimately made me realize I need to stop wasting so much time on my MacBook… a lot more reading, cleaning and other productive activities happened during my wifi-break. But here’s a litte update about what’s been going on around here recently…

I snapped this while walking through one of my favorite Paris neighborhoods, the Canal Saint-Martin. If you’re looking for a gritty, lively and bakery-filled neighborhood that the French would call, “bobo,” or borgeois-bohemian, head here.

The lovely Alex from Ifs Ands & Butts came to visit Paris, and we had a delightful chat over coffee at the Australian hipster coffee shop, Tuck Shop. I love meeting blogging buddies IRL!

This wouldn’t be a true recap of the last few weeks without some goofy shots of my girlfriends, no? Whether we’re window-shopping at Hotel de Ville or taking the dreaded night bus back to the suburbs, when we’re together it’s kind of always a good time.
